Lindsay Belfatto began skating at age 3 and competed for nearly 10 years. She recently returned to the ice after almost 10 years away due to a back injury and feels like she never left. Lindsay coaches locally at the Beacon Hill and at Codey Arenas and loves every minute of it.

Ivan Gyliaev & Anya Davidovich have been skating since age 5. Anya trained in the U.S., while Ivan trained in Russia. They united as an ice dancing couple a year ago have skated in Nutcracker Theatre On Ice. Since last fall, they have been training intensively for the 2009 National Showcase Competition in Colorado Springs and 2009 Lake Placid Ice Dance Championships this summer.

Oksana Baiul is the 1994 Olympic Champion and 1993 World Champion. She is a dedicated supporter of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® and other cancer charities. Oksana's ties with the disease hit very close to home. When Oksana was just 13 years old, her mother died of ovarian cancer. Through her strength and perseverance, Oksana vaulted herself to the top of the skating world. Oksana hopes to promote the need for early identification of and treatment for cancer to save lives.

Tamar Katz is the 5-time Israeli National Champion and has represented Israel in 3 World Championships. She hopes to compete in the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Tamar lost her grandmother to breast cancer. With cancer projected to become the leading cause of death, Tamar hopes a cure will eliminate this debilitating disease and bring joy to families worldwide.

Anastaysia Kononenko is the 2007 North Atlantic Junior Ladies Champion and took the bronze at the 2008 event. She skates an encore of her competitive short program in this event. She is known for her incredible spinning talent.

Aaron Gillespie has been skating for nearly 20 years. In 1999, he won the U.S. Junior Olympic Championship. Injury nearly ended his career, but Aaron returned to the skating world more determined than ever. Teaming up with coach Rosie Tovi, Aaron is training for the 2010 season and sets his sights on the Olympic Winter Games. Aaron initiated this event, and he is thankful for all his supporters.

Ray Ellin has been honored as one of the "Ten Standout Stand-Ups Worth Watching" by Back Stage Magazine. He is comedy's renaissance man: comic, TV host, actor, writer, and filmmaker. After getting an early start at age 15 and going on to study film in college, Ray moved to New York City to make a name for himself. Oksana Baiul is one of his biggest fans.

Scott Smith is the 1998 Junior Champion and 2003 National Medalist. Having competed in 13 Nationals, Scott is an accomplished technician with an array of triple and quadruple jumps. He has been a World and Olympic Team Alternate and competed internationally. After skating, he would like to coach and pursue a career in sports broadcasting. Scott's family has been touched by cancer, so he welcomes the opportunity to perform in benefit shows.

Colin Pennington is the 2003 Novice Champion, 2-time North American Challenge Champion, and 2-time Junior National competitor. He has represented the U.S. in international events. Colin's passions include music, dance, education, and, of course, skating. Someday Colin would like to audition for "American Idol" and "So You Think You Can Dance."

U.S. National Champion
Angela Maxwell is the 2008 Junior Silver Medalist and 2007 Novice National Champion. She is from Texas and trained there until moving to Hackensack in 2008. Angela first performed a back flip on the ice at age 9, and it has been a highlight move in her exhibition routines ever since. She has rapidly moved up the skating ranks. In the 2007-8 season, Angela was part of a U.S. sweep at the Junior Grand Prix competition where she won bronze.
JOJO STARBUCK
Host
JoJo Starbuck is a figure skating icon. She is a 2-time Olympian, 2time World Bronze Medalist, and 3time National Champion with her pairs partner, Ken Shelley. Together they toured with Ice Capades and competed professionally. JoJo has acted in films and loves to teach adults to skate. Her primary focus, though, is her twin boys. In 1994, JoJo and Ken were inducted into the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Fame.

Junior World Team
Wesley Campbell was the 2008 Midwestern Sectional Champion and placed 7th at the 2008 Nationals. He was a World Junior Team Member in 2005 and a National Bronze Medalist at the junior level. Wesley thanks all event participants and supporters for everything they are doing to raise awareness.

Molly Massarelli & Danny Durak are 3-time Junior National competitors and have been skating together for the past 3 years. They are both honor students at Bayonne High School. The team has participated in many events for the Lupus Foundation and has performed in numerous ice shows. They are honored to be a part of this event.

Felicia Zhang garnered a number of medals in 2008. She was the Novice National Bronze Medalist, Novice Eastern Sectional Silver Medalist, and North Atlantic Regional Champion This event is extremely important to Felicia because parents of her close friends have had breast cancer.

The Infernos make people move despite their best efforts to keep still. Whether it is the infectious showmanship of lead singer Kenny Simmons, winner of three Grammy Awards, or the penetrating sounds of the brass, you get lost in the moment. Led by Bobby Wells, former musical director of the world famous Duprees, The Infernos play in engagements around the globe, but they call New Jersey their home.
Kristin Fraser & Igor Lukanin are the 10-time ice dancing champions of Azerbaijan and competed in the 2002 and 2006 Winter Olympics. They have been to 9 European and World Championships, finishing as high as 7th at Europeans and 11th at Worlds. Kristen is from California, while Igor is from Russia. They train locally in Montclair.
Olivia Yao represents the future of figure skating. At just 10 years old, Olivia has already been skating for 6 years. She is the current U.S. national artistic champion. She is an accomplished student with a straight-A record, a musician, and a dancer. Her best friend's mother is a cancer survivor, and Olivia witnessed the impact it had her friend's family.
The Synchroettes are the pride of The Essex Skating Club. Coached by Gerri Lynch they are National medalists and Eastern Sectional Champions

Samatha Dango has the voice of an angel. Her breathtaking singing has opened the NJ Devils games at The Prudential Center. Samantha’s Mom Nancy is a survivor so the show had a special place in her heart.
Andrew Vinokurov is originally from Moscow, Russia. Early in his childhood, Andrew trained at the Russian Circus Academy. He is known for his many circus acts including unicycle, juggling, fire staff, acrobatics, stilts, and mime. He has performed with Madonna and been featured in commercials, films, and TV specials. Andrew has starred in circus performances and tours worldwide..

Jason Grant hails from South Orange and specializes in voiceovers. He frequently announces for U.S. Figure Skating championship events. A school teacher, Jason is the proud father of a daughter who skates at the Codey Arena.

Shaun Rogers is the 2000 Novice National Champion and 6-time Championship Men’s Competitor. He has extensive experience representing the U.S. in international competitions. Shaun sings, plays the guitar, and has his own music band. Shaun performs in fundraisers for several charities and cancer benefits. He skates this event in memory of his best friend's mother who fought a long and courageous battle with breast cancer.
